Pretty cool moment for the Huskers last night in their win over Kansas State. Pitcher Jackson Brockett threw the first individual 9-inning no-hitter since 1954.......which was also just the second such time the feat has ever been accomplished in program history.
Brockett recorded 12 strikeouts on 107 pitches.

Wow......Iowa baseball with the rare winning streak as they hammer the Cats 9-2. Brody Brecht goes 8 innings giving up 2 hits and a run, while striking out 13.
Don't look now but right up there in the B10 standings...play front runner Ilinois to finish up the B10 conf. slate.
They are RPI 102 as of now...it's win the Big Ten Tournament or bust for a regional. Question is, save Brody for Game 2 or throw him Game 1 to get to Game 2 and then not have him until Championship Sunday if you make it.
Or, pitching by committee for Game 1 and a pitch count so you save that arm until Sunday. Lots of ways to go.
Is there a rule he can't pitch every game, like with softball?..................
