Does anyone know what the capacity is at Iowa's Baseball Stadium? The picture online looked pretty full at 1,500, then it was 1,900 the next day. How full is "full"?

Officially seats 3,000 but I'm not sure how accurate that is. Heller's weekly email suggested purchasing tickets early with the possibility of a sell-out. Great news!

I would think that with the Spring Game crowd at Kinnick.....that the crowd might over flow to Duane Banks Field and fill that place up! Can you purchase baseball tickets on-line?

I contacted the UI Ticket office. You can not purchase tickets using their on-line system. You purchase them to pick up at the stadium by calling 1-800-IAHAWKS

I want to go to the Spring Game and baseball game on Saturday, but I don't want to come all the way from Des Moines if the weather is gonna be crap like they are predicting.
