RPI is good right now. I expect it to dip a bit with the upcoming schedule. That is why it would be huge to get a win @ Bradley and win the Michigan/Nebraska series. Also it wouldn't hurt if Indiana could creep back into the Top 50 RPI.

Listened to some college baseball experts on SiriusXM tonight that right now are projecting the Big Ten to get five bids into the NCAA Tournament. That would be HUGE. Great to see the Big Ten schools making a commitment to baseball. The league hardly ever gets more than two into the tourney, much less three, so five would be awesome. They also mentioned that a sixth team would be on the bubble.

They have Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Nebraska and Ohio State in the tourney as of today and Indiana lurking.

It's a shame that only a few years ago Purdue had a pretty awesome thing going and they just didn't keep it going.

College baseball clearly needs a few more polls, as a number of the possible team/ranking permutations are missing in the current system...

Thought Iowa fans might like this little link to a way too early Field of 64 projection:

Not sure why UC Santa Barbara is not projected to host--perhaps no lights? Or sub-par field? Or the rules relating to regionals and baseball!
