Dayton Gets Paid...

...with a "home" game in the First Four for the "home" game they played at Carver in the 2012 NIT.
 
They are always the host of the first four games. Before that Dayton was always in the regular rotation every 3 or 4 years for first and second round games but now they exclusively want 15k plus arenas.
 
Well, and they were the host of the single play-in game for years before it went to 4 games.
 
considering they shouldn't have even had to be in a 1st four game, I hardly count this as a treat.
 
They have a great basketball arena. They do a great job and the NCAA loves Dayton.

Love that they host First-4 every year. Fantastic event that everyone really buys into there. Makes what could be a ho-hum footnote every year into a spectacle in and of itself.
