The Florida High School Athletic Association voted 10-5 to start football on 7/27 except where not allowed by local mandates. Some believe this is an attempt by schools up north not to have to go through SoFla for a state championship. Last season all but 1 class were won by Broward or Miami-Dade schools. Broward County school board is meeting tomorrow to decide what they play to do about opening schools.
