Get to Know 2016 Recruit – Keegan Moore

I thought I would share this here. Seems like some people have been talking about getting a 184/197 guy and Keegan Moore is one of the best targets in the nation. I realize his brothers are at (or going) to UNI, but Keegan doesn't seem like the person that would go to UNI just because of his brother.

I've wanted this kid since day one. That being said Holloway was right behind him on my list so don't see both coming? It would be nice to let them battle it out with wilcke and Bowman and may the two best win those two spots. IMo I see Holloway being very good for us. I'm not as high on wilcke and think he's got Bowman or soon will once he gets in the room a bit. So can Holloway or Moore make 184? Throw in hall at 174 and marinelli at 165. Kem at 157. Giddy up!

I think Wilcke is really going to surprise a lot of you. He's very athletic, strong, fast kid that can go with anyone in the country. He's been a 2 time Fargo AA by basically walking off the baseball field going to camp and heading to Fargo. He's been in Iowa City training for almost a month now and from what I hear he's already getting the best of Bowman and very confident that he can take Holloway. I wouldn't be shocked if after his redshirt year he wrestles 197 and after Sammy is gone he drops back to 184. Hopefully Wilcke and Moore go head to head this summer and he can show you who the better man is!!

Sounds like this kid is tailor-made for the Hawkeyes with the Brands Brothers at the helm. Hopefully there is room at the Inn for him if he wants to come this way (and he's from their neck of the woods to boot - sort of................).
