Anyone know when he suffered the injury? Would explain his late-season fade in the BTT and NCAA tournament. Just didn't look the same as the rest of the year. Less velocity, no command of off-speed pitches, etc.

Hopefully with a successful surgery and rehab he'll get good to go next year. Hickman has talent. Hope he gets the chance to display it.

It'd be interesting to know this as well. He did look pretty good in the first 2-3 innings vs Missouri State.

Blake battled through the UCL problem the last 3 weeks of the season. Never was it ruptured, just very inflamed. With the light workload he has on the arm, it was better to do the surgery now than wait so he can start his MLB career.
