It's an all-star team from Canada is my understanding, they are going around scrimmaging USA College teams.

Iowa won both exhibition games today 6-2 and 9-4.

There are too many stats to go through but Eric Toole had a great day today and Sasha Kuebel and Tyler Peyton pitched well in VERY limited duty that they see in these exhibitions.

Always good to see Iowa do well in fall ball as that is not always the case. Iowa still has exhibitions against Kirkwood, Iowa Central, and DMACC.

The JuCos will challenge Iowa more than Ontario for sure. They are 2-6 in their games so far with one win each against Northern Illinois and John A. Logan College.

Hickman pitched an inning, wonder if he's going to pitch this year.

He will. He pitched quite a bit this summer in the Northwoods League and was named the fifth best and seventh best prospect by Baseball America and Perfect Game, respectively. He touched 96 and they see his greatest potential on the mound.

Box scores look like 2 games, but this article shows us winning 15-6 in one 15 inning contest, interesting:http://www.hawkeyesports.com/sports/m-basebl/recaps/091713aaa.html

96? When is the last time Iowa had a guy that could hit that?

Haven't seen it in the last five years, for sure.
