I see they got that Gill kid from Louisville. They've also had White from Kansas, Petteway from Texas Tech, Pitchford from Florida, and a guy from Georgetown since Miles has been there.

Useful tactic for them since they are in an even less fertile recruiting ground than we are and have basically zero tradition. Not going to get many top-flight recruits to come there when KU is only three hours away. Watson being the exception; Morrow kinda fell into their lap with his alumni parents.

It's a strategy that has proved successful. Would much rather see a more traditional student/player, but what is that anymore?
