No, Billy was too busy banging gals 30 years younger than him.
He did okay. Christie Brinkley was his Uptown Girl.
Poor guy couldn't even pull ladies his age. Feel bad for him.

I heard recently the story behind him writing /recording “Piano Man”. He and his former recording company were in a contract dispute and as a result had couldn’t get job or concert any where in NYC. As a result, he took “solo” piano/singing gigs (under assumed names) in local “dive bars” throughout the city and “piano man” (the lyrics) was a result of this 6 month period of his career. Really an interesting story. “Piano Man” has to be an American standard of the past 50 years, doesn’t it? One of my favorites..
