Great effort by the offense to come back from a 7-0 hole on Saturday.

Shayla needed to start in the 7th. With the offense on a roll, we just needed to get through the top of the 7th. Ashley made it through the 5th and 6th by the skin of her teeth. We were really playing with fire putting her back out there in the 7th. She hasn't been able to pitch a complete game for weeks. Then to leave her out there after a lead-off four-pitch walk....???

With wins at a premium, and with us battling Illinois for a B1G Tournament spot, you have to do whatever it takes to get that win.

Well we have had some bad losses and some unexpected wins. No way I thought we would even get one game from Michigan, but we have. So the potential is there just need to be consistent and get the pitching things ironed out. Got some winnable games coming up. Gotta take care of business there.

What is Looper thinking?!?!

It's obvious that Ashley (try as she might) is not able to make it through a game. Yet with a three-run lead and Ashley obviously tiring as usual (and/or Wisconsin figuring her out) and it obviously slipping away in the sixth and seventh, she doesn't bring in Shayla until the game is tied.

Gave this one away.
Stupid.

With victories as rare as they have been this season, to give one away like that is crazy.
I predict we lost a B1G tournament bid with this one.
