I hope the continued success by T-Ram and the success by Henry a majority done by Brands' coaching will help give Spencer Lee even more reason to end up a Hawk!!!

Agreed! Wish these guys (Hall, Lee, Hall, Happel, Hall, Suriano, Hall) would just go ahead and commit to our beloved Hawks!
Do we think our future at 184/197 is Holloway and Wilke? If not then those r need weights as well. Crossing my fingers for a number 1 recruiting class.
I watched my first several matches of Spencer Lee recently. I expected someone a little more slick on is feet, but he's quite the brawler. Seems to fit the mold of Iowa wrestlers more than some other recent studs.
This may not go over that well, but I thought he reminded me quite a bit of Nate Moore. I don't take that as a bad thing, as I think had it not been for Tony Ramos and a bad staph infection Nate would have been very good.
It was a small sample size, so I may be off base. All but one of the videos was freestyle too, and I hear he's quite the hammer on top, which Nate Moore was not.
Here's to hoping young Mr. Lee is a hawk some day.

25 & 33: Need beginning 2017-18. Mejia (#6 @ 120) & Renteria (#8 @ 120) will be true freshmen then, as will Lee (#2 @ 120). Suriano (#1 @ 126) & Yates (#3 @ 126) would both be great.
41: If Turk improves and can hold the weight we're okay until 2020, otherwise we need someone in 2016-17 to follow Grothus. (See what I did there?) Happel (#7 @ 138) would be good. Mejia or Renteria could grow by then.
49 & 57: Sorensen/Kemerer through 2018 & 2019. No near-term need.
65: Marinelli (#1 @ 160) through 2021. No near-term need.
74: Need beginning 2017-18. Paddock is there but didn't dazzle as a redshirt. Hall (#1 @ every weight in every sport ever invented) is the obvious choice.
84: Need beginning 2017-18. Wilcke is there but was not ranked top 10 at his weight.
97: Need beginning 2016-17. Holloway is there, thank goodness, but also not top 10 at his weight.
285: Either no need until 2020, or an immediate need by Jan 2016--we'll know by Midlands. (Any word on Bradley?)
