Exactly. I don't see the need for multiple people to speculate different things when we have no idea why. The HC was good with his decision. Why not just let it go at that.

I don't understand the "don't deserve it" idea. KJ's touchdown catch/run was earned with talent and determination. Those turnovers (including the sack-strip) were earned with determination and training. Stingy team defense is taught and paid for with hard work.
We earned all our points. Nebraska earned all their points. We earned more.

He might be a decent depth addition for a team with a quality O-line, but it won't be at Iowa. Kaekert said last night he will enter the portal.

Yeah, you cant have a great season being one dimensional on offense.

Remember, Campbell and Benson were hurt in the first 2 games to start the 2020 season. When they came back the defense was great that year and super in 2021, '22, and '23. Kirk squandered a chance of doing something special because he couldnt demote his son.

Kirk could have fired his OLine coach after 2021, moved Brian back to OLine coach so his son would be able to live nearby in Iowa City, and Kirk could have gotten a much better OC. And maybe Brian gets the OLine working better in 22 and '23.

Whatever, but Kirk was not making decisions that were best for his players back then. And best for himself as he was winning 10 games a season, he just needed an offense that was average.

Nebbie had one win against a bowl eligible team... Colorado. And a losing conference record. NCAA should change the bowl eligibility rules that you must be above .500 record in your conference to go bowling.
