Laughable embarrassment. Gave it a shot, turned that shit off.

I recall you saying Iowa wouldn’t get to 6 wins last year after our first loss.

Honest question, why do you still watch?

News flash to you, ic45, and all the rest of you miserable folks, we aren’t Ohio State. Iowa isn’t going 11-1 and headed to the final game of the playoff any time soon so do yourself a favor and either stop paying attention or just enjoy the damn season.

Iowa runs 31 fewer offensive plays and wins; it is a winning formula but I want more scores next year

5 first downs in a game is a losing formula 90% of the time. Our offense is garbage.
Yeah, you cant have a great season being one dimensional on offense.

Remember, Campbell and Benson were hurt in the first 2 games to start the 2020 season. When they came back the defense was great that year and super in 2021, '22, and '23. Kirk squandered a chance of doing something special because he couldnt demote his son.

Kirk could have fired his OLine coach after 2021, moved Brian back to OLine coach so his son would be able to live nearby in Iowa City, and Kirk could have gotten a much better OC. And maybe Brian gets the OLine working better in 22 and '23.

Whatever, but Kirk was not making decisions that were best for his players back then. And best for himself as he was winning 10 games a season, he just needed an offense that was average.

Out of the loop re: McNamara

Perhaps Cade decided to take “the higher road” on this? Maybe Cade didn’t want to walk out to an ovation of “boos”? Maybe Cade didn’t want to angst the crowd? A million reasons out there.
Concussions are a strange injury. Maybe Cade “didn’t feel right” even though he had been given medical clearance? Maybe there was miscommunication between Cade/Kirk and staff?
Perhaps it gets “we” try not to make a mountain out of a molehill…and let things work themselves out.
Were his parents attending the game? If not, I could somewhat understand his opting out. benefit of the doubt

Out of the loop re: McNamara

Just a guess, but considering how few games he ended up playing for us in his tenure, he may still feel more connected to Michigan and didn’t feel that the experience would have been good. Unfortunately I think that’s a mistake as this is probably the only opportunity he’ll get. Unless he’s going after a medical redshirt, which he could have a shot at considering the number of games he missed over the past three seasons.
He'll never play another game here, and he knows that.....
