Kennise Johnson

She didn't play at all last year, made no real waves her Freshman year, will be a RSoph and what should we expect from her? I know with CC running the point most of the time her Freshman year, and then redshirting this year, I see she is in the same mold of Chit Chat that we just picked up. Do we anticipate she might be a backup to Chit Chat or do we see her getting spare minutes or moving on after the next year.

Potential Needs (Jan says she's looking for 2 in the portal):

- Top Scorer (replace Lucy' production)
- Ball Handling to break a press (replace Lucy)
- Stretch 3/4 Forward (replace Syd type guard/forward/shooter)
- 4/21/25 Jan talking on OnIowa Live about #1 spot and #3/4 spots

Best Players Available in Portal For Our Possible Needs:
PG:
> Kayleigh Heckel (USC) - Cons: Looks like another miss coming. Report of 4 visits: UConn, ND, Michigan & Vanderbilt.
> Milaysia Fulwiley (South Carolina) - Cons: Reported $1.3MM asking price

CG:
>?

G:
> Melannie Daley (Northwestern) - Pros: High AST/To Ration; Cons: Negative Net on ORtg - DRtg, No team follows
> Mjracle Sheppard (LSU) - Pros: Lockdown defense; Cons: Lack of 3s (3 of 6 50%)

Stretch 3/4:
> ? Cons: Don't have any listed in my database with good 3pt% except possible last resort backups. Melannie Daley is same height as Syd so she may be a possibility here.

Hopefully some late portal entry talent shows up. Just not a lot of talent left to work with.
