    Clark could play another 16-18 years with good luck. Sue Bird is 43 and only recently retired. Diana Taurasi is 41 and still playing. We'll be needing someone before then.

    Don't know for sure, but I think she's part of the first class to not get an extra year for Covid, so she'd be a true junior now with one season left after this, barring injury.

    The version I heard was Indiana at Illinois before Assembly Hall was built, and like the Fieldhouse (and Carver now) they had folding chairs right next to the court. A smoking fan put his cigarette against the inbounding player's leg, and the refs didn't see it.

    I can recall a TV color person commenting that Tania Davis never really recovered her lateral movement following her tear, and I think Goodman has said she still isn't 100%. I haven't seen anything on what happened to Johnson, just that she's done for the season. Seems like she's walking...

    The San Jose St game is viewable on the Mountain West conference website, www.thwmw.com. Score 0-0, Adams pitching. Earlier today we beat CSU Bakersfield 17-1 (!). ETA - we won 3-2.
