    I think an equally important question is if you’re a current WR or QB on the roster, why would you stay? You were clearly sold a fake bill of goods. And with the portal, why wouldn’t you bolt looking at the offensive system we’re running.

    Serious question…how many other power 5 schools would hire Fran to run their program? I think we know the answer and it doesn’t paint Iowa in a flattering light. Go rebuild some bottom feeder to respectable somewhere else I guess. It’s clear ‘respectable’ is the ceiling.

    Agree. NIL or portal isn’t holding Iowa back or keeping them from their traditional, average 7-8 wins. The offensive production/philosophy is though. Something that the portal ‘could’ help fix in shorter order than years past, but remains to be seen here
