    You’re not wrong, and they will probably still be really good, but the top teams have an entire roster those girls. UCONN had more 4 and 5 star players than that injured and on the bench. Final Fours may happen, but expecting them is a recipe for disappointment. Maybe Iowa becomes a blue blood...

    You kind of got there in your second paragraph, but the idea that the offense has improved significantly, is far beyond plausible. An offense that doesn’t cause the defense to have 9 defenders sprinting to the ball at the snap would be an immense improvement. Even if Hill is #1.

    I AM NOT EXPECTING THE PLAYOFFS, but they have better than a puncher’s chance. It expands this year. If the offense is as bad as it has been, they do not have much of a chance.

    There are going to be more. Either that, or Iowa gets hit by the NCAA in 2024 because they gave out too many scholarships. Of course, you know this, but won’t let it stop you from using it as sign of impending doom.

    Risk aversion is a huge reason why the Iowa offense has become the joke that it is. If the question is, KF is concerned about turning it over, the answer should be do it, 100 times out of 100.
