Think they can sellout the home game in the NIT?

Look at how Hoiberg turned Nebraska around. That's a program with 0 NCAA tourney wins in their history.

Fran and Lisa Have a Type

You've seen Purdue right? How about Wisconsin typically. It's not because of a type, it's due to the coaching, and style. But you keep up your narrative. Most Iowa fans accept what a Fran coached team will play like, and what their ceiling is. Ohio State sucked for much of the year. They...

Fran and Lisa Have a Type

Tone deaf comment. White players aren't athletic, but they are smart. Black players aren't smart, but they're athletic. Keep spouting this nonsense. The truth is that Iowa doesn't play lockdown defense, they attempt too many threes. They lack a true go to guy, and lack intensity.

Please, please, please - No Gus Johnson ever again

I'm guessing you just want Beth Mowins to call all Iowa games.

Can anyone honestly say Kirk is serious about improving the offense?

Is he serious? Does he want to? Is he willing to put in the effort to? Is he open to change. Yes. Yes. In his mind yes. No. If Kirk was a stupid man, a very lazy man. The question of if he wants Iowa to succeed would be valid. He is neither, you don't become a head coach at a P5 program, and...

Each CFB team’s last 10-win regular season

But they have an NFL caliber coach🤣. Seriously any Iowa fan that has advocated for Iowa State to join the B1G, should have to watch 90 hours of a Brian Ferentz offensive film study.

Each CFB team’s last 10-win regular season

Indiana, Purdue, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina have zero ten win seasons? Rutgers hasn't had one in 18 years? Kind of shocking that these programs couldn't have stumbled into at least one. Wake Forest has a couple, kind of amazed really.

OT: PJ up for UCLA job

I guess the thought here is Fleck recruits top forty classes at Minnesota, but can take advantage of being in Los Angeles. Completely forgetting USC with an all in football mindset can't even keep Oregon from cherry picking So Cal kids. Riley may not have the chops to win a playoff game, but he...

Chip Would've Been Better As A Hawkeye

Rush heavy offense, doesn't depend on five stars. He had UCLA getting one four star, and the 59th rated class in 2024. Sounds more like Iowa than Ohio State. Five star receivers don't like run heavy offenses.

    Where Does The Bar Stand?

I recently talked to a Penn State alum. He told me the expectation for Franklin remains the same, even with expansion. He must stay ahead of Oregon, USC, and Washington. UCLA is irrelevant to his base. How do you feel? Ferentz needs to stay top five in conference? Or just below the elites, but...

How Much Does Iowa Spend On NIL...?

Coaches say a'lot, I usually don't believe most of them. If Kiffin's source is some number Day just threw out, I would doubt the validity. It's a shell game, but I do believe those last three years woke up Ohio State. It was an arrogance that guys would just suit up because it's Ohio State...

    Bye, bye Booger Eater!

Belichick to Michigan? He found his franchise QB there. That kind of personality would just shine🤣

How Much Does Iowa Spend On NIL...?

Clark is the face of women's college basketball. I'm sure she's seeing a dime. After that Buckeye fan ran into her, she should be on some sort of deal for pain relief creme. The 2.3 million for football is around what I heard Michigan was offering this past season. No concrete source on that...

How Much Does Iowa Spend On NIL...?

Lane Kiffin has been on Twitter complaining/complimenting Ohio State on their 13 million dollar roster investment. He worded it so oddly that I don't know if he thinks it's too low, or too high. My guess is he's miffed that the B1G is embracing the new rules. Bama fans are upset to lose Downs...

OT: Chiefs make the Bills fans cry; some franchises are just snakebit; wide right again

As an Eagles fan, I have major respect for what Reid has done his entire career. Patrick Mahomes just won his first road playoff game, the last checkmark in his career imo. But Chiefs fans have become way too sensitive to any criticism directed at Patrick. There is no such thing as a perfect...

OT: Chiefs make the Bills fans cry; some franchises are just snakebit; wide right again

More dynamic in that he can run for a 80 yard touchdown on a dime. He has arm strength just below Mahomes. He isn't as accurate, as polished. But he is more explosive, not better. For what it's worth, Josh Allen is way more dynamic than Joe Burrow. I would take Burrow over Allen anyday though.

OT: Chiefs make the Bills fans cry; some franchises are just snakebit; wide right again

The Ravens look like the best team to me. Jackson is a more dynamic player than Mahomes. It wouldn't shock me if the Chiefs won, but there is no true dynamo this year. The Lions could win the whole thing.

OT: Chiefs make the Bills fans cry; some franchises are just snakebit; wide right again

This was their best chance imo. Home game vs a Chiefs team that is lacking down field threats. No Burrow, no Rogers. When are they going to do it? Chargers have unbelievable talent, imagine them with a real coach. The Browns with Watson should be dangerous. The Colts will get Richardson back...

    Proctor will be a bust

Proctor came home for a reason. I believe Ohio State was going after him hard. But he chose Iowa. Maybe it's a sign of some change, not just a kid being homesick.
