    Otto Black commits to Iowa

Good for these kids, very few wrestlers can say they wrestled at the U of Iowa. But with this class it's safe to say the gap between psu and Iowa has widened.

    Typical John Smith move

I'm guessing that Scott was hired with a scenario like this in mind. And I'm also guessing he's been lead in getting a lot of their recruits and transfers.

    Last Chance Open

That sucks. Same happened to Dennis at the Olympics IIRC, so it can happen to anyone. It doesn't change my thoughts on NB at 184. 5 of the top 6 place winners return, as well as Foca (who beat NB as 174) and Pinto. Not sure how anyone thinks 184 has cleared out? Who is Gunderson btw?

    Last Chance Open

So maybe pump the brakes a bit? I'm all-in on NB as our 84 but I'll wait to see what things look like next year before getting too high. Mid to low AA initial thoughts. Depends how he adjusts to the weight, not all bump up easily.

    Massoma Endene

I'll take things that are not accurate for $1000.

    Massoma Endene

No idea, never heard of him, but it's a huge jump from D3 to D1. So imma say no, he's not a better option than Glazier and not a better option than Brands at 84 (if he could even get to 184).

    Estrada wins at Pittsburgh Classic

Outstanding match! His stock had taken a hit given his CA state tournament performance. Garrick is currently rated at 165 so a bit of a size difference or is Garvick a very undersized 165? Does Estrada project at 49 or 57? Either way we need him to be a hammer for us.

    Hawks line up next season

Not shooting the messenger but seems like he'd get over-powered regularly at 133.

Just saying, it's difficult to project guys who are coming off an ACL injury.

'97 Hawkeyes vs '24 Nits Head to Head

If Gillis couldn't throw ya, he wasn't winning. Cael would have him appropriately scouted.

What I learned at NCAAs this weekend

I wonder if this post will end up being as far off base as the one we got after nationals last year? It's an entertaining read though.

What I learned at NCAAs this weekend

Oh wow, that's a sick hot take. I'm sure our AD shares your terrible take on the subject.

What I learned at NCAAs this weekend

Gambling is a 4 letter word around these parts. And agree about that guy. I'd much rather have Ramos back... but he's not in the DT club.

What I learned at NCAAs this weekend

Well he's abrasive and verbally abusive and frequently acts like a lunatic. Getting caught on a hot mic at SS calling Schwab a pussy was a bad look. But it was par for the course for the SS. We put together what was supposed to be a showcase event and we may as well have held the event...

What I learned at NCAAs this weekend

Well Nelson ain't coming back to sit on the bench and Ferrari is probably undersized for 184 next year. A RS makes perfect sense, with a few Ferrari matches sprinkled in to preserve Nelson's old body.
