    Biking folks - walk me through the thought process

    My 70 year old neighbor was biking on a non-busy Hwy in a bike lane and got smacked by a lady in a minivan. It threw him several feet. The lady stopped, took a look and then quickly left. He lived, but it’s not great. I am pretty cautious about where I bike.

    The Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) had been playing with fire for a while now. Their balance sheet has way too many longer dated securities and they couldn’t borrow out of it. Their risk area must suck.

    The Hy-Vee stores I drive by a usually pretty full, so I am in the minority in not shopping there all too much. Granted it doesn’t have all of the options, but I tend to find Fareway a bit cheaper for what I buy.

    My neighbor’s house went for sale late last week in the $280k range and a bunch of people have walked through it. Demand is definitely there.
