Possibly as the third center, but I have read on here that she really likes her major plus just the culture of the team. It used to be that Lisa never kept a full roster of 15 because the players at the end of the bench were unhappy and would leave. Not the case anymore.
I think that Olsen was Plan A for Iowa, but if she did not commit right away then they had Scherr scheduled two days later for Plan B. I am guessing Scherr would have committed if things worked out that way. Olsen was clearly Iowa's first choice, but they didn't want to end up empty handed.
It looked to me at the beginning of the season like AJ had gained some bad weight over the summer. However, by the end of the season she looked to be in much better shape and perhaps capable of contributing off the bench next year.
True but helped by an uneven schedule. Iowa and Indiana had to play the other two contenders twice, while Ohio State played Iowa twice but Indiana only once at Ohio State. IF they had lost at Indiana, there would have been a three-way tie for first.
This year feels different. Last year felt like a coronation. Yes, you lost and were disappointed but still you made it to the biggest stage. This year they needed to win it all to top that, tough as that would have been.
None this year, but McKenna Warnock is now in dental school at Iowa. And Bethany Doolittle from a few years ago is now getting an advanced degree in orthodontics. If you want to go way back, Lindsey Meder is an endodontist in the Des Moines area.
No info but just observing the timeout huddles this year, Dix and Perkins seemed to be the favorite targets of Fran's wrath. I am not saying I think Josh will transfer, but that has to get old.
