I feel like it’s worth mentioning that we effectively added players by getting our LBs, and DBs to use covid years and return.
Could easily have 2-3 schollies to work with otherwise.
Because Trump has pending criminal trials, that can now not take place prior to the election. Or if SCOTUS rules in his favor may never be held at all.
Or do you not think we should be able to know before votes are cast whether or not one of the candidates could be a convicted felon?
99% of the time you’d be right - to me this falls into that 1% because I think it’s reasonable to know whether or not a party’s nominee for POTUS is a crook. Now, if Trump wins in November, these trials will never take place.
Why?
Smith asked SCOTUS to take up this question in December, since Trump was signaling this was going to be his defense. Smith was hoping to get a decision sooner so that trials wouldn’t be delayed past election.
Instead, SCOTUS declined to take up the question, and waited until Trump lost...
Worst thing about this is they could easily have discussed this months ago when Smith first asked them to, since it was known Trump was going to claim this as a defense.
No, it really isn’t. You’re trying to equate correlation with causation. Flu cases didn’t decline because fewer people got the vaccine.
You’re just asking questions that are, quite frankly, stupid. You even mentioned previously other factors that played a role in flu #s declining. I don’t get...
Because it didn’t go away. You stil had cases out there, just greatly reduced for the reasons you stated.
Besides which, again, THERE ARE MULTIPLE STRAINS OF THE FLU VIRUS. What happened one year wouldn’t have had the same impact on others.
I generally respect you as a poster, but you’re being...
Because it’s a stupid question - because of the very nature of the flu. It’s not really killable.
Viruses/diseases that we’ve managed to effectively eradicate also happen to be far more stable, allowing medical experts to create vaccines that are far more effective, in coordination with...
Sigh.
There are multiple strains of the flu virus out there, and experts have to make educated guesses based on data they have about which strains are going to be most prevalent each year as they haven’t been able to make a universal vaccine that works for all strains. In addition, the flu...
While I don't think it was a primary reason, we'll just have to agree to disagree if you don't think fan feedback didn't play a role in making the decision at that point. It was getting absolutely toxic from fans by the end of the MN game. making the announcement after that game took a ton of...
Iowas record against top 10 teams the last few years has not been good. Since we beat Penn State, I don’t believe we’ve beaten another top 10
opponent, I’m not sure the offense has even scored a touchdown in any of those games save for garbage TDs when we hosted Michigan.
The recent trend of...
Didn’t say they had been.
Seriously, you can’t at least understand why people in Gaza would side with Israel, who has been bombing and killing them (not on purpose, but the end result is the same)?
That makes perfect, logical sense.
Now go tell Palestinians they should join the side that’s been bombing and shooting them for months.
Israel needs to make a gesture here at least if you’re serious.
