    During freshman orientation at Iowa this fall my son and I sat next to a father and son from illinois. I asked them why they had picked Iowa and they said that paying out of state tuition was still cheaper than attending the U of illinois!

    Blockhus was an all-american last year. He is now doing mma so I imagine he now has a lot more time to train. He is not an easy out.

    While Spencer was 11 for 25 and 109 passing yards Charlie Jones hauled in 12 receptions for 153 yards for Purdue. Wish Charlie was still in the black and gold but can't blame him for the switch.

    6 Iowa wrestlers competing at UNI Open - Final results

    That was a closer than expected decision against a Minnesota back up. Feeling a little less confident about a Kennedy vs Kharchla match. Impressed with Schriever and Swafford. A year of seasoning and Ayala will be right there.
