    As long as he's back in time to get in a groove before the B1G and NCAA tournament, I don't mind being forced to provide some of our bench with extended minutes in high leverage situations. It will serve us well if we get into some weird situations in the 1-and-done games come March.

    Yes, but we were going to be on a 3 day turnaround a believe... I don't see having 9 days vs 8 days to be a significant advantage. Just trying to look on the positive side while I wait for us to beat down IU.

    I actually wonder if this last postponement will help Iowa. Gives them an entire week to prep for Illinois - which was viewed as one of our toughest challenges.

    Luka elbows

    To be fair, having played a decent number of pickup games and catching elbows myself... there is a delayed reaction to when the contact occurs and when the pain sensation causes you to flail/grab/fall. Fran definitely needs to start chirping for the refs to be watching for cylinder violations...

    What I don't understand is how they overturned a cylinder violation. If the guy was in Luka's cylinder... the foul occurred before Luka turned and caught him with the elbow. I don't disagree with the end result, but the process to get to an offensive foul is a little confusing.

    I've updated the original post based on recent games. Opponent B1G records are really interesting... Rutgers now projected to go 10-10, so that FT% may get them removed from the list sooner rather than later.

    Next 6 games

    I believe Morsell will be out as he just had surgery to repair a facial fracture. It is supposed to be a 1-2 week absence. With the added disadvantage that they play on Monday, while we are off until our Thursday game, I like our chances.
