It probably has more to do with moving more than 30 miles aways from where you were raised than any sort of DEI programing. It's hard to keep a narrow worldview when confronted with evidence to the counter every day.

Sounds like this guy has been convinced of this by the media... Reality is there's a disparity, but given the pressure placed on students at most schools to espouse liberal values, it actually should be a greater disparity, suggesting an outsized number of people see through the liberal agenda and end up republican anyway.
