I like Spencer's reaction to her opening remark. He looked a little shocked and horrified. Did she just let the cat out of the bag? fwiw, I hope so, that would mean he is healthy and cleared to go. Realistically, she made an off the cuff comment not understanding the situation. I think it's a zero % chance he goes before Midlands, even if he is ready today.
She just made a mistake and Spencer was caught off guard.
Could it be just off-the-cuff though? This isn't the first home meet, if she didn't know who he was or anything about his situation, why would this be his "first time"? Alas, I agree he won't be going Friday.

Funny enough, I was just watching DeSanto’s Keystone matches last night, and his match vs Spencer at the state finals, and I was thinking, “Man, Spencer should totally pick up that fireman’s inside throw that DeSanto loves.....he would kill with it, with his leg power.” And voila—today the Wrestling Gods deliver. ♀️
I had to watch it several times -- the look on his face was was hilarious.
I have to tell you, Spencer seems like a really nice and humble kid. I hope he gets 100% healthy and avoids more injuries for the rest of his career. He could really leave his mark.

In the vid he said his name is Perez. So, does he just have one name and puts it twice when asked for first and last (cause that'd be accurate)? It does he truly have a two names that are the same?
This could be like a Hayden Fry story why he called Epenesa Epenesa “Repeat”. Not sure if true but have heard that he could not get the name right So he called him “Pete” or “Repeat”. Could be Urban Legend....
