Illinois vs Michigan is tight, it looks like Livers returned today, but may have aggravated his groin injury.

To be fair, that wasn't a foul on Teske. Ball was dribbled off his foot, and he stood his ground. Ref had a bad angle

How did this shit Michigan team drop over 100 on us? Yeah, I know, poor defense and Livers healthy.

Peaks and valleys. Ohio St and Michigan look like garbage now. They were flying high a month ago.

I can't complain too much. Although a loss for Illinois helps with the standings

How could Michigan's best players miss FIVE straight FTs down the stretch?! Wagner shoots 87%, and he missed a pair. Sometimes you're good. Sometime's you're lucky. Illinois was both today . . . but especially lucky. The Illini really had that FT defense working late today.

um terrible from the FT line. That killed them, especially in the clutch. That punk wagner missed two big ones late that really hurt them. I'm not shedding any tears for either um or tosu, but what a strange season for both those squads. They were both in the top ten at one point, right? Now they are struggling mightily and near the bottom of the league. Weird.

Michigan has lost their mojo. They don't even look like the team that Iowa beat last week. They might fall below Nebraska if they keep playing like this (okay, they're not quite that bad, but still).

I actually think Michigan made some good adjustments to force Ayo side to side instead of going downhill. He just made so many clutch jumpers. Michigan made too many mistakes late and doesn't have enough offense without Livers at full strength.

Hope Nebraska enjoyed keeping it close. I’ll be surprised if they can keep pace with RU.

UM will be a bad loss for us.

Maybe, but as long as Iowa keeps winning, it won't matter.

But here are a few points about Michigan: Against Iowa, UM made 29 of 34 FTs. Today against Illinois UM was only 12 of 21. And today Michigan shot only 39%, including 24% (4-17) from three. Michigan only had TWO turnovers to Illinois' eight, but poor shooting--especially from the FT line--killed them today.

Just fouled out with 5 points. And there's Illinois fans saying he's better than Garza, lol.
They are stupid, then. Garza is the best big man in the league this year.

That was Kofi’s worst statistical game this year. Lows in points and rebounds. It happens. He’s a freshman. 22 and 15 on the road against Purdue last game.

Came into today averaging 15 and 10. Garza was 13 and 6 as a freshman.
