We all know it happened in football in Iowa City on October 19, 1985. It is happening in field hockey on October 15, 2021. If you ever thought about going to a game, this might be the one. Starts at 2 PM; should be over by 4. It appears that the weather will be be seasonal. (And, in the good sense of the term; not in the way today's rain is also seasonal.)
Both teams are undefeated. Wolverines took 2 of 3 from the Hawkeyes last year and lost in the national finals to UNC.
It is on live on regular BTN for those who cannot make although I don't expect Brent and Ara to be on the call..

Michigan's hasn't been tested in a tough away game yet. The first two games against UNC and Wake Forest were played on neutral court at Iowa. Beat Northwestern and Louisville at home. Hasn't played Penn State, Rutgers or Maryland yet. Hopefully their second visit to Iowa City will be an unhappy one.

If you attend, and you likely already know this if you are, they are trying to make it a blackout.

Dangit. It started while I was at work in a stupid meeting and then I got hung up and couldn't catch this. Glad to hear they won, though.
