I wanted Iowa to get one more first down to make sure Maryland wouldn't get 100 yards. That would have been awesome. Hope we move up 1 or 2 spots in each poll.

I believe Iowa had 38 offensive plays in the first half alone. Iowa was very good on both sides of the ball today. They will need to play much faster next week. Not sure if we want to have some wind next week or not based upon this performance.

Defense played great today but this stat represents how well the offense did on long sustained drives. I think in the first qtr Maryland had the ball for one drive for like 5 plays.

True that is, but it's a team game, and that's exactly what Iowa wanted to do given the brutal wind. Run the ball effectively and keep Maryland's offense on the bench, which is the easiest way to defend any football team. Iowa did so to virtual perfection yesterday.
