The week 1 season opener isn't until September 4th, when the Big Ten Network airs the first game on Duke Slater Field at Kinnick Stadium to kickoff 2021 B1G season for the Hawkeyes and Hoosiers.

Speed and leverage, ultimately games like Iowa vs. Indiana will be determined by the play in the line of scrimmage. Iowa has won 3 straight in this series, but the last loss came due to poor interior line play by the Hawkeyes, you may recall.

When healthy, the results have been good against opponents of the Hoosiers.

The last time USC Stephen Carr faced the Hawkeyes, he did score a rushing TD in Iowa's 49-24 win against the Trojans in the 2019 Holiday Bowl.

"Let every motion count," yells Tom Allen. Is he the Richard Simmons of Big Ten coaches in 2021?

Let's not forget Iowa was in the middle of a 19 season non-winning streak in the fall of 1969. The Hawkeyes beat Indiana back then, in Bloomington. Just like the last time Iowa faced a Tom Allen team in Bloomington.

Can Iowa make IU one dimensional again? Can the Hawks find balance in the offense to open 2021? Plenty of questions ahead!

It should be a good opener in Kinnick on September 4th.
