I'm fairly new to HR, but I have been watching for a few years now, this is my first post. I just bought a new house and when I was moving a stumbled on a wrinkled up poster in my closet. I thought I'd share it on here as my first post because I thought it was a pretty cool find. I was 7 years old at the time and still remember the team. ( I hope I uploaded the image correctly so you all can see it). Thanks!

Didn't Wittmer place 4th or 5th at Big Tens that year he won NCAA? Seems I remember something to that affect but could be way off.

That is definitely Whitmer and I don't remember what he placed but he was seeded 6th behind Morgan and Durlacher at NCAA's, but I don't recall what he placed at Big 10's

I love throwback memorabilia.

I don't remember what year it was but one of my favorite posters was the one with Metcalf in the middle holding the reigns to two stallions with everyone else dressed in western wear that read HORSEPOWER across the top.

I have this one, and all others mentioned. Someday I might have a man cave I can hang them all in.

We were sitting beside some Ok.St.fans during nationals that year. They went from confidence to disbelief in short order. The only thing they had left was to mock Mena for his looking to Gable as to what to choose in overtime. Then of course we all know Gable told him to choose and he chose wrong. Other than that moment it was a near perfect tournament.

Gillis' pin was one of the most electric moments of the tournament.

It was vs Maldonado of ISU on the mat directly in front of us... Pumped his fist to us and let out a war cry as we were cheering him coming off the mat as we were the only Iowa fans in that section at the dome... One of my top 5 all time Iowa wrestling moments.
