Curious to see how Ped does at Purdue based on what Purdue did to us, already battling better than we did early though that hardly takes much.

Purdue isn't hitting and isn't playing with anywhere near the energy on defense or on the boards they showed against Iowa. And one of their big guy just missed from 2 inches. . . Just incredible.
But there's a long way to go, and maybe Purdue can get it goin'.
Late in the first half, Purdue is making a move in spite of the fact they are 0-8 from three. Can you believe that after the way they shot against Iowa?!
There are a lot elements to basketball, but it usually comes down to shooting. Purdue couldn't miss against Iowa and put 61 first-half points. Tonight, they're missing the very same looks and have a paltry 26 points with 3 minutes to go in the half.

For sure we didn't show up AT ALL and they were firing on all cylinders, just crazy the difference day in and day out. Ped St is also a damn good team.
The difference is Purdue is 0-8 for threes. They couldn’t miss against Iowa.
Thats the crazy thing. People can complain about Iowa's defense that night, but rarely could a team stand out there in practice unguarded and shoot 19 for 34 or whatever from three, and Purdue isn't even a good 3 point % team as it is. Just one of those nights.....

Purdue has been playing out of their minds their last 3 games. You just knew that they where going to come back dowN to reality. We will wax their ass when they come to Iowa City.
PSU/Purdue and MSU/Illannoy are both huge games for the final B1G standings. Not sure who Iowa fans should be rooting for. If Purdue loses, you can stick a fork in them for top 4.

I guess the best thing we can say about those two games is two of them are going to have another L hung on them while we watch. Just makes winning tomorrow at Indiana that much more imperative if we want to hang in this race.
PSU weathered that three game losing streak and just seems to be getting stronger down the stretch going for their 7th straight win.

Either way, need to win some on the road or probably doesn't matter.
