I haven't had a beer in years, but hey, I was young once lol. I tried 'em all back then. And, yes, cheap was also good.
I kinda wish they'd have a dollar a slice pizza deal, too.

When our kids were small. we were travelling through Ohio. I had heard about Stroh's and had to try it. It was pretty decent as I recall.
I hope there are a lot better beers available today in Iowa than the crap most people drank back in the 70s. I am not a huge beer drinker, but some very nice options in Houston.

Better that trying nothing, but why not do this for every game? I assume you are selling cheap light beer at $2, not like you are even losing money selling at that price.
Hopefully they have thought it all the way through. They are serving beer from 6:00 to 7:30. The game tips at 7:30. Hopefully the students then stick around for 2 hours until the game is over.
I do wish they'd serve something easy like this that goes well with beer (in place of or in addition to the pretzels).
Bring in a ton of Casey's pizzas and sell them at $1/slice....
Create a fun pregame experience; the game SHOULD be a good one

they have to have a plan for the "bad actors"
i am sure you potentially are going to have cases where one student buys 2 beers and then slams them and then soon gets back in line....
I'm sure they do have a plan. Might be very closely monitored, I hope.

Knock the beers down to $4 for adults and I'll be there.
