Sprints: Tristan Williams, senior, MICDS
Missouri's Class 4 state champion in the 200 and 400 meters. Concluded his Rams career with personal-best times of 21.52 seconds in the 200 and 47.71 in the 400. He claimed district and sectional titles in both races this season, as well. His personal best time of 21.52 in the 200 tied for second-best in the area and his 47.71 is the area's best time in the 400. also ran a leg on Rams state champion 800 relay (1:27.35).
Horizontal jumps: Joseph Anderson, senior, Westminster
University of Iowa football signee captured a Missouri Class 5 state championship in the triple jump with a leap of 15.16 meters (49 feet, 9 inches), a personal best that ranked only behind Edwardsville's Malik Allen among area athletes. Anderson also was a triple jump state champ as a sophomore and runner-up as a junior. also fourth at state in the long jump (7.12 meters; 23 feet, 4.5 inches) and qualified for state in the 110 hurdles this season.
Throws: Iose Epenesa, junior, Edwardsville
Helped Tigers win Illinois Class 3a team state championship with his second-place discus finish. Threw personal-best 57.88 meters (189 feet, 10 inches) for best finish in three state meet appearances. He never finished below second in nine discus competitions and his four individual championships included the southwestern Conference meet. also was 12th at state in shot put, and his personal best was 16.88 meters (55 feet, 4.75 inches).
