2 Gay Rights Activists Spit on Catholic Priest

Fr. Jonathan Morris was walking down the street in New York this weekend in the vicinity of the gay rights parade on his way to see a parishioner. Two gay rights activist approached him and each spat on him.

Once again you make a classic mistake of lumping the behavior of a few knuckleheads with EVERYONE of a certain political persuasion.

How do you know they were "secular progressives?"

If you are gay-rights activist then you are progressive. I don't know of any non-secularists that spit on pastors of organized religions.

Once again you make a classic mistake of lumping the behavior of a few knuckleheads with EVERYONE of a certain political persuasion.

Doing so makes you look petty and foolish.

I think any fair-minded person with any minimal level of common sense is smart enough to know I am suggesting no such thing. I am simply pointing out one instance of a behavior by two very repulsive individuals. I apparently assumed to much, since you did not have the intellectual capabilities to understand this.

I do find it interesting that no one on the political left has come out and publically condemned the behavior.

In addition to being subjected to the slings and arrows of outrageous liberalism, official Fox priest Fr. Jonathan Morris now has to put up with gay body fluids. Has the sweet, little Fox priest handed his Fox paymasters another example of Christian victimization at the hands of the nefarious gay agenda?

The obvious question is what was Fr. Morris doing at the NY City Pride parade which would be, per his church, an occasion of sin. Maybe he was saving souls?

And BTW, Fr. Morris' truthiness, when it comes to personal anecdotes, is somewhat questionable.

After Todd Starnes posted his article, the extraordinarily homophobic Catholic League President and general bully Bill Donohue said that if anybody spits on him, he'll "floor them." Bizpac Review whined that it's just not gays, but liberals who are intolerant. The Blaze, who got from the Weasel Zippers, has it.

Oh, my, unto this day another persecuted Christian was born!!!! And isn't is special that Fox's very special priest, after the amazing show of Christian forgiveness in Charleston, is sowing such lovely hate.

He was on his way to a parishioners home that is home-bound and unable to attend mass. I believe he was taking communion to said parishioner. It's what Priest do pretty much daily.

He is also not paid by Fox News. He is a Fox News contributor along with another minister/rabbi that often come on Fox shows to provide a religious perspective on current events. Very similar to Rabbi Marc Gellman and Monsignor Tom Hartman, otherwise known as the "God Squad" who have provided the same services for CNN, MSNBC and other news outlets in the past.
