I am aware of that. Why let the Fairfield turn around and offer the same room for $400 a night like most other hotels in downtown Indy are right now? Now there is a Hawk fan paying $700 for a room that could cost $1600 if he got it from Marriott directly. My only request was that he pay forward some of that $900 in savings to the new Children's Hospital. Now he has hotel rooms and a tax deduction. I am closer to my fundraising goal. The Children's Hospital has more money to do their amazing work. Everyone except the Marriott Corporation wins. Seems pretty foolish to just cancel the rooms, doesn't it?

I would just collect whatever amount you want for the room and make the donation yourself. Cleaner. Easier and likely ensure the room is used and used by a hawk fan among other weird things like someone getting it for free from you and trying to scalp it for a profit
