I think these discussions usually depend on the generation you grew up in. My father grew up in the 50's and the music and movies of that era will never be surpassed to him; growing up in the late 80's-early 90's I feel the same about the movies and music of my younger years. My children will undoubtedly feel the same and so on, and so on it goes.


That said, This is Spinal Tap and The Big Lebowski are the funniest movies of all time and if you disagree you is dumb.
