All of the fall sports are in and we sit at #95 with 67.5 points. Like last year, football was the only sport that scored points. This time last year we were sitting at #149 with 25 points.

Next score update will take place in late March and another in early April. This is when we made a big jump last year. Men's Swimming, Men's Gymnastics, Men's Indoor Track, Women's Gymnastics and Women's Indoor Track are all positioned pretty nicely to score at least as many points as they each did last year. Men's Track and Men's Swimming have a lot more scoring opportunities qualified for their respective national meets, so there is a strong likelihood we should see scoring improvements by both. On the reverse Women's Swimming most likely will drop points from last year and Wrestling will have to do no worse than 2nd place at NCAAs to maintain their point out take. obviously we would like to see a 100 point National Championship from Wrestling. The big hit will be Women's Basketball. They scored 64 points last year and unless they make a deep run at the BTT, they most likely will put up a zero. Obviously football has already covered 42.5 of those points. Men's Basketball needs to at least get to the round of 32 at the NCAAs to match last year's 50 points.

So all and all with what we have on the board so far and how we position in most sports in the winter period, we should hopefully maintain our point total from last year leading into the spring. Where that puts us in the overall ranking obviously depends on what others do. Looks pretty good so far.
