Okay a few things about the two seasons...both started 5-0
-In 2015, we were just scratching the ranking after win #5...#22, I believe. Obviously, way different in 2021.
-In 2015, our OL struggled, mostly because of injuries. I remember got to NW with our two OT on the IR and a QB who could barely walk and we won something like 40-10. In 2021, our OL struggles early but after game 5, appears to just be rounding into confidence/execution shape.
-In 2015, we had questions about QB. While I think the majority of Iowa fans embraced the Beathard over Rudock, we really didn't know what CJ could do. A lot of folks were questioning Petra going into this season. We know how it ended for CJ, the Spencer book in still in the early chapters.
-Lots of skill player question marks in 2015...maybe Smith our only good skill guy! Lots of skill player questions coming into 2021...but we are getting a few answers!
-Like 2015, some DL ? and a strong LB core coming back. Like 2015 (so far) we get really good back end play on defense...
