Not really a surprise, but Iowa had offered Micah Potter after the first evaluation period. Potter, who is from Ohio, had an Ohio State offer in hand already and they were tracking him in the first eval period pretty hard. He was already considered a strong lean to the Buckeyes and made it official today.
Saw a tweet this afternoon that Iowa will be in to see 2016 Ohio big man Nick Ward today. Ward is 6-9 and 240 and plays the post. Big body prospect. Purdue is also in to see him today. Ward is a four star prospect, according to Rivals.com.
