2016 NU = 2005 Michigan game

First half seven "bad" calls in favor of Michigan by Dave Witvoet Michigan crew. He lives in/near Ann Arbor and is a super Michigan fan and donor.

Unbelieveable the blatant conflict of interest was never addressed.
OK. Don't remember the specifics but I kind of remember that being known as the 'Witvoet' game for a while after that...

Bad calls had nothing to to with giving up 38 points to the worse offense in the Big 10. Bad calls had nothing to do with the left tackle getting owned all game. Bad calls had nothing to do with running the clock all the way out with five minutes to go, down by seven. Bad calls had nothing to do with stupid penalties. Bad calls had nothing to do with constant third down conversions by NW.

I'm sure there's a shitload more I'm missing that bad calls had nothing to do with.

they gave the crowd yellow towels to cheer with for the game. the fans tied them up and pelted the officiating crew with them as they were walking into the tunnel at half. remember it like it was yesterday i was in the student section and it happened right in front of me.

that crew threw that game that day just the same as the IA/NU threw the game today.

blatant as hell.

The loser mentality amongst some in this fan base is pathetic. Iowa got beat. Quit crying and blaming the refs.

I was at the 2005 Michigan game and the Outback Bowl. This sir, was no Michigan game and certainly no Outback Bowl. I almost never complain about the officiating, but I've never seen the incompetence or perhaps outright rigging of a football game like in that Outback Bowl.

that game was rigged.

I really don't want to get started on that Outback Bowl, but we got screwed on the coin toss, and it never got better.
Today's game doesn't begin to compare to that abomination of officiating. The NCAA started making the bowls get BCS conference officials after that.
The refs today weren't very good, that's true, but our terrible line play cost us the win. That and terrible clock management.

It was decided before the first kick.

Those officials owe 70,000 people a refund.

Why am I not surprised you're the type of person that walks away from this game blaming the refs, and not accepting how bad we actually played.

Always trying to blame someone else....
