Q: Did you go to the Iowa junior day?
VANCE: I didn't stay for the entire thing. I left shortly after we took pictures and ate brunch.
Q: Why did you leave early?
VANCE: I had to go do some things with my dad.
Q: What did you get an opportunity to see?
VANCE: We listened to Coach Ferentz. We went to the weight room and listened to him talk. Then we went to our defensive groups and listened to the linebacker coach talk.
Q: Was there a favorite part of the trip?
VANCE: Nothing really. I had already visited the Iowa complex already. I had seen the majority of it already.
Q: What did the coaches say about you as a recruit?
VANCE: I talked to them a little bit. The majority of it was Coach Morgan talking about keeping my grades up and how good of a player I was. It was stuff like that.
Q: How do you feel about Iowa?
VANCE: It is a good school. it is just that I'm going to Iowa State over Iowa.
Q: Are you going to the Iowa camp?
VANCE: No.
Q: What percentage would you say you are committed to Iowa State?
VANCE: 100%.
Q: Would an Iowa offer change that?
VANCE: No.
Q: Where are you visiting next?
VANCE: I'm going to Iowa State for a couple of junior days and their spring game.
Q: What sold you on Iowa State?
VANCE: Just their overall atmosphere. The coaches believed in me and the faith that they had in me.
