I got an email they go on sale tomorrow. How quickly do these sell out? TIA.

my understanding is that the sale tomorrow will be the "open" seating at St. Louis. They don't allot team sections until early in the season when teams request the tickets and are given them. Even then, they would go through the schools first to be in those sections...

my $.02

Speaking of donations, they have to be to the U of I Athletic Department to count, correct? In other words, donating a good chunk to the HWC doesn't help at all where access to good seats for home meets, Big Tens, and Nationals are concerned, right?

FYI: I used to order right away like you're talking about doing and always got nosebleed seats. There is no way I'd order tickets like that again, especially since it's in STL next year. Walk up the day of the event and pick your seat in the lower bowl! I promise you'll walk by 20 guys selling multiple tickets...take your pick and enjoy your seats.

You can also pick the package full experience deal and all of those are lower bowel seats. They're more expensive, but they also include snacks and access to bar. You can also pick and choose which session you want if you go that route.

I have a friend who used to work at Scottrade Center. He said they likely withheld half of the arena tickets, hence the "public" tickets sell out in minutes. His suggestion was if you know people who work in the big St Louis companies (Enterprise, Boeing for example) they automatically get tickets. Also if you happen to know any St Louis Blues season ticket holders they automatically get an option to buy these tickets when they purchase their season hockey tickets.

Call me a snob, but there's no way I'm sitting in a "lower bowel seat."

The majority of the lower bowl seats will go to the teams based on their finish this year.
