Q: How was the Iowa junior day?
HUMMEL: "It went pretty great. It was a highlight go get a chance to see the facilities for the first time. It was a pretty cool place.
Q: Had you visited Iowa before?
HUMMEL: I really had just been to a football game a couple of years ago (as a fan). That was about it.
Q: What was your schedule while in Iowa City?
HUMMEL: Really they showed us the weight room and all of the facilities. They gave us a tour of the stadium and we got to talk to our position coaches. We met with Coach Ferentz and then talked to some of the players for a little bit.
Q: What was your favorite part of the trip?
HUMMEL: They had this thing called the player panel where they had five of their players come and talk to us. We could ask any question. It was pretty cool to see what they had to say about the place.
Q: What did the coaches say about you as a recruit?
HUMMEL: Really they just said that the are slower in the recruiting process compared to other schools. They just said to hang in there.
Q: Are you going to Iowa camp this summer?
HUMMEL: Yeah, most likely.
Q: How do you feel about the Iowa coaches?
HUMMEL: I thought they were really nice guys all around. They have a good staff and obviously they have been around for a long time.
Q: How do you feel about Iowa?
HUMMEL: I think it is a real possibility if they were to offer me.
Q: What other schools are interested?
HUMMEL: Iowa State has offered me and then there are other schools like Miami of Ohio and some Ivy League schools.
Q: Do you have any visits coming up?
HUMMEL: I will probably go to a spring practice at Iowa State but that is all I can think of.

HUMMEL: Either at the beginning or end of the summer.
