Class of 2017 LB/WR Owen Piche from Illinois visited Iowa City for the game today. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Piche was one of a handful of 2017 prospect invited to the Hawkeye Tailgater in early August, so is clearly on Iowa's radar despite no offer just yet.
Here's what Piche had to say about today's visit:
"The game was great. Iowa always treats their recruits like their own. Kinnick on game day was indescribable."
"Coach Jim Reid, Coach Brian Ferentz, and Coach Seth Wallace are great guys and amazing coaches. They've been very positive about my recruiting process so far. We're keeping in close contact during the season, things should heat up afterwards."
Piche has made game day visits to Indiana and Northwestern this season and also has upcoming trips planned for Michigan State and Vanderbilt. Still waiting for his first offer right now.
