The 2024 Big Ten Baseball Tournament got underway on Tuesday after a rain delay. The rain didn't delay Iowa's game, though; the Hawkeyes were always scheduled to start with Michigan on Wednesday at 2 PM CT and that game hasn't been impacted by any rain (yet).

Iowa is the 5-seed in the tournament and Michigan is the 4-seed. The winner of Iowa-Michigan will face the winner of Illinois-Penn State on Thursday at 6 PM CT. The loser will face the loser of Illinois-Penn State in an elimination game on Thursday at 10 AM CT.

There's no real mystery about what Iowa needs to do in the Big Ten Tournament this year: win the whole dang thing. Anything less and Iowa's season will end in Omaha. The Hawkeyes are 95th in the RPI rankings entering the BTT so it's automatic bid or bust.
