I'll be there...The 2024 Acrisure Series had 21 men & women's teams with 19 games over 4 days

And if you go on the 28 Nov. you'll be able to see your favorite whipping boy Brock and his Horny Frogs play Santa Clara. Won't that be fun! You can sit on the opponent side of the benches and yell weird noises while Brock is shooting free throws like the guy last night at the MGM Grand hotel during the Crown tournament. Can't wait to see you on TV....I'll be there...
Sure & I'll wear a Brock Harding vintage Iowa uniform. maybe he'll autograph it for me too... lolAnd if you go on the 28 Nov. you'll be able to see your favorite whipping boy Brock and his Horny Frogs play Santa Clara. Yeah, like you have a Brock Harding vintage Iowa uniform. lol. Bad come back, if you ask me, thought you would do better than that.Sure & I'll wear a Brock Harding vintage Iowa uniform. maybe he'll autograph it for me too... lol
Thanks for the info and it makes sense. I do think we need to establish a presence in the Des Moines metro area but this coaching staff should have no problem with that having spent a year there. From this morning (Ben appeared on a local radio show):
Ben said it doesn't make sense to play Drake and UNI with the way the NET is.
You're right, I have a Moline Maroon jersey though...Yeah, like you have a Brock Harding vintage Iowa uniform. lol. Bad come back, if you ask me, thought you would do better than that.
A google search tells me that both UNI and Nevada have been selected to play in the Acrisure series next later this year.
VERY Interesting......
Good move to generate interest in the program in Des Moines area by playing a neutral in DM against a decent opponent in a decent conference...
I think NIL is going to make scheduling in regards to NET a lot harder.Robert Morris, by the way, is currently ranked #133 by Kenpom.
PERMANENTLY getting OFF of our nonconference schedule home opponents ranked in the 200's and 300's would be AWESOME.
How do you scout teams now? Totally new rosters.

It’s not like they need to generate interest there. Des Moines is Hawkeye country. More like throwing a bone to all the fans in Central Iowa.Good move to generate interest in the program in Des Moines area by playing a neutral in DM against a decent opponent in a decent conference...
True, but I don't think Robert Morris doesn't have a history of being a regular over 250 NET, like some of the teams Iowa has been playing pre-B1G. The goal should be to have nearly all of the teams on the schedule to be under 200 NET, preferably below 150.I think NIL is going to make scheduling in regards to NET a lot harder.
With the amount of roster turnover you might a schedule a team you project as a 100-200 type team but their roster gets pillaged and they end up being a tomato can.
Tournament in Orlando 2015 was a good time. Advocate Invitational at that time. Held on Disney Sports Complex.Might be a fun road trip with a new coach and some excitement in the program again. Battle for Atlantis in '13 was a blast.
Kind of pissing on the season ticket holders as well. Like last season, they had a 'decent' non-conference schedule, but the good games were in Sioux Falls, KC and Moline. It’s not like they need to generate interest there. Des Moines is Hawkeye country. The season ticket holders don't show up to the "decent" home conference games. No need to play to an audience that isn't there.Kind of pissing on the season ticket holders as well. Like last season, they had a 'decent' non-conference schedule, but the good games were in Sioux Falls, KC and Moline.
That game better be sold out! Fans have been complaining for years about the Non-Conference schedule. This is it!
