Seems like we have too many LBs. I know they are useful for special teams, but there is an equal number of linebackers and defensive linemen right now. Lots of talented young players in that group, but we could actually still use a bridge transfer or two until they are ready.

Don't have to be at 105 until August so likely some tough conversations after spring ball. Would like to see the portal not open up until after the bowls. It leaves some teams so short handed.

See below
With the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff, the postseason will be longer. Athletes on teams that compete in the College Football Playoff and later bowl game will be allowed to enter an additional five-day transfer portal window in January after the portal closes.
They have 5 days after their last game in a bowl or playoff.

From what I'm hearing, the staff has decided to have those convos now to allow the walkons they aren't keeping the maximum amount of time to find a new home.

I was told by very knowledgeable people in this forum that Iowa would never do this.

It will be a rough year unless they add some talent.

Says the guy spending every minute of his day on the Iowa board. What a buffoon 😂.
Wrong. It takes like 3 minutes to check stuff out and see what's interesting. I do that a few times a day. Same with the Huskers board but there isn't much news there. So I check here because I know that you guys will also be discussing the Huskers, as you always are.

Nice back peddling to try to excuse all your time here. And here you are again... I rest my case cletus.

Funny from the guy who comes on this board all the time. Weren’t you the same one on here within a hour after the game all butt hurt Iowa fans were ripping on the huskers but then exposed for posting crap earlier in the day. Seriously you spend more time on here than most Iowa fans. Further more like always you interjected Nebraska into a thread when no one was talking about them and stir the pot. Then try to play the husker obsession card.

Speaking of 3 minutes I looked through threads. First thing Husker related page 3 talking about frost back to UCF. Then one about a cinematic video of the game. Last real husker thread with a post in it was 12/4…. But yeah we are the obsessed ones here…. Real question is how long and how many threads do you read through with out little nebby talk before you finally said F it and decided to post in this one?
