21 rebounds???!!!!

Haha. No way I am going to win this argument :). When I look at mock drafts he is not on many lists currently to be drafted. I am aware of one but for the most part he isn't a national name, yet. I think it is coming. The initial mocks are primarily based on name recognition from prior year in my opinion. When your currently rated as the #2 player according to Ken Pomeroy, it is saying something. I am a CPA, no where near any type of analyst and couldn't even make my freshman team - take anything I say with a grain of salt haha. I'll walk away now . . .

I also know the mock drafts are not anywhere near on how NBA teams also value Keegan. Good luck to him and your family this year. Go Hawks.
Pre season there were numerous outlets having him as a top 30 prospect. The Athletic had him in the top 20. He will move up if he keeps this pace but his talent is undeniable and just enjoy this season Hawk fans. He is the best NBA prospect the hawks have had since Ricky Davis

You would lose that bet. I watch way too much NBA. I like his game quite a bit, but if he's going to get double teamed through an entire Big 10 season, I'm curious to see how he does.
I don’t think him getting doubled team in the big ten will have any bearing on how he will do in the NBA. Him getting doubled team has nothing to do with his skill set that translates to the nba.

He is very springy and has a very quick 2nd jump. His body type and physical abilities have always reminded me of a young Dennis Rodman. He has the ability to guard multiple positions at the next level, which I am sure is what makes him an intriguing prospect.

what is "minimal"?
I think he is vastly underplayed on the BTN. They give him a wow here and there but certainly not the time he deserves based on his accomplishments this year. He's the leading scorer and third in rebounding, but he plays for Iowa, a team with few expectations. If he played for Michigan or Ohio St. I suspect things might be different. I don't watch a lot of ESPN, but I would be surprised if he is much of a known quantity there. I might be totally off base. I just cut the cord and went with Hulu, so I am still in a learning curve.

From a national media perspective, I agree with you and Bunsen that Keegan seems to be flying under the radar. NBA circles/evaluators are well aware of him however, as I’ve seen his name floated as a borderline first rounder on multiple outlets. If he can hold at 36-37% from deep, the guy is a lottery pick… in my opinion

He won't speak of it, but there is more than a buzz in the NBA circles with Keegan. He is grounded and has allowed me to keep all of the "noise" away from him as it pertains to his future. We are humbled as a family that people think this high of him. But, the goal is to stay "present" and enjoy each time he and Kris step on the court together!!

That means he’s staying all four years? 🤔🤞😁

I mean, none of us here would object.

Kudos to you all for keeping him in the moment versus looking forward to the NBA like a lot of players/families would. I know that we Hawk fans selfishly really appreciate it!

Funny how so many “higher rated” players who have “potential” at the next level are drafted without putting up crazy numbers. Is it so far fetched that NBA teams believe Keegan has NBA potential from what he did last year and early this year? You still have to put the ball in the basket, rebound and play defense. Just food for thought. 🤔
I'm just hoping your boys are enjoying college and playing bball together way too much to worry about making money early. Though nobody can blame anyone if they wanna get paid earlier :).
