Of course, criminals in Chicago just drive to Indiana to get guns. Indiana has lax gun laws. It's not rocket science (although to gun owners, it is)

I actually don't have a problem at all with Blacks killing Blacks. Actually I'm the one that understands that violent crime as well as gun homicide has dropped dramatically in the last 20 years. I say stay the course, we are winning this battle.

As far as on a National level, none. Until the SCOTUS steps up and bitch slaps some states again there are a few laws going in at the State level. They really don't concern me at all, I live in Nebraska where we have a pretty level headed legislature. As I've said before we have a duty to retreat here and other common sense laws like our permit to purchase, and classroom and range training for a concealed carry permit. I think people dumb enough to stay in California and New York deserve what they get.

It's because they have honor and pride. Suicide is a big problem for those who need public assistance. I for one would be happy to see less guns and more people, who can't/won't care for themselves, take responsibilities for their life's failures.

But, but, but, it's not their fault they are leaches on the system. It's not their fault the didn't finish high school. It's not their fault they can't do simple math. It's someone else's fault.

And you never will. Nebraska is larger than England and Whales with a population of 1.7 million and the vast majority of that is on the eastern side of the state. The rest of the state consists of communities of 6 to 12 thousand people spotted about 10 miles apart. In the panhandle there's fewer people than that. Cherry county alone is larger than some countries. We have areas where the kids can't even live on the ranch, their parents have to rent them apartments in town because they live so far away from the High school they'd never be able to go to school. Hunting is a way of life here. It is a lot of what we do. Kids grow up handling firearms.
Nebraska is also the number 1 cattle producing state in the nation. These cows are produced on small farms across the state. Farmers depend on these for income. Coyotes love to feed on new born calves. These small farmers profits would be dead before they hit the ground if the coyotes weren't kept in check, farmers depend on the predator hunters to help with this.
This is an area where the closest law enforcement might be over an hour away. Believe it or not you can walk onto many farms here and jump in a vehicle and find the keys in it. The reason isn't that they trust people, they would just rather lose a vehicle than have the crooks come on up to the house. We depend on ourselves and or neighbors here, not 911.
